Logo & Identity Development
Amolette Herbal Apothecary | 2020
In 2020, I had the opportunity to design the logo for the new business of a good friend of mine. She gave me a general direction that included having hand drawn botanicals and a script font. From there, I explored several font variations and logo designs. See below for some of the alternate logos I developed before concluding with the option above.
Ultimately, she liked the circle of this design with the flowers along the bottom, but preferred the A in the other options above. Then, we added color for the final result.
The Anthophile | 2021
The Anthophile, was a similar opportunity and art direction to Amolette Apothecary, but a different business entirely. This customer creates jewelry from dried flowers, and wanted a simple black and white logo with a drawing of daisy’s. Here, you can find the small icon I created for her, as well as the final logo. Also included is an example of the art and text treatments I explored to get to the final design.

My Work in Their Words
“Having used Colleen's skills before, we knew she would design an amazing logo for us just by giving her some ideas and a few pictures. It came out amazing, as always and so easy. She got it to us quickly so we could start advertising our new business. Always such a great experience working with her.”

Wedding Suite | 2022
I used a combination of original illustration, and licensed art and templates from minted.com in order to create my own wedding suite. You don’t often have time to paint a landscape, as well as design your invitations and website all while planning a wedding. The art from minted really set the tone for our dreamy celebration in the mountains of New Hampshire!
Victoria Cambranes for City Council | 2017
In the fall of 2017, I was approached by a good friend to help her create an identity for her New York City Council political run. Initially, she wanted to stand apart from the traditional two party system that the US follows, and she asked me to create a lion icon to represent her brand. As her campaign progressed, her advisors suggested she drop the icon and simply use her name as her identity.
